Coverage of the greenest house in Northern California — a 3,500 sf home framed in days using structural insulated (Premier Building) panels. Mavericks Builders (formerly Meridian Builders).
USGBC LEED for Homes
As part of the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Homes Pilot Demonstration, Mavericks Builders (formerly Meridian Builders and Developers) built the landmark project from which the LEED for Homes guidelines were established. The USGBC wrote: "This is one of the most important residential projects in the U.S."
